Works great- could not be easier! Clamps right on my instant pot – or a stockpot, ect I had wanted to try Sous Vide and was excited to get this, but was concerned about costs beyond this. Then I realized that with this I didn’t need to buy a container or really anything. This clamps onto my Instant Pot stainless steel insert! I just put it in place and filled it with hot water. Heats water to cook food in a freezer bag over several hours This thing is huge. It measures 13″ long and 2″ across at the bottom and 2.5″ across at the top. It heats water (and is only to be used to heat water) between 68ºF to 203ºF (20ºC – 95ºC) (with 1ºF or 0.1ºC increments) for 1 minute to 72 hours. It’s easy to set the time and temperature, and the heater circulates the water well, too. The only tricky part is getting enough air out of the cooking bag so it’ll stay fully submerged. You can cook beef, pork, lamb, poultry, fish, shrimp,…

Great unit, but needs a larger container than an Instant Pot. I’ve used this a few times now. It’s easy to use, and the results taste great, but it’s much more difficult than expected to fit food into the pot from an Instant Pot. It’s allegedly compatible, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re only ever cooking single portions. I recommend you get a separate, larger pot to use with this.
