This is a heavy duty cast aluminum pressure canner/cooker and it’s made in the USA! I really like that I don’t have to be concerned about a rubber gasket and/or watching the pressure gauge during the processing time. After a long while trying to decide which model to get I finally decided on the 41.5 quart. The first thing I did when the UPS driver left was to fill the canner with 19 empty Ball quart jars.
