In which I hope to correct a couple of misperceptions I read about in other reviews. Excellent! There have been some reviewers who have complained because this pressure cooker is different from all of the others on the market in the way it opens and closes. While I agree that that does take some getting used to, it doesn’t require a brain surgeon’s intellect. I think it’s ingenious. The pressure inside helps to create a pressure seal, and the construction is superb. If I were hypercritical, and I often am, I’d complain that the safety valve under the handle makes cleaning the lid a little…
Best pressure cookers. Period This is the my favorite brand of pressure cookers. I prefer the Hawkins close-from-inside design over the close-over-top of other models. If you have never used it watch a video to understand the difference. It makes for a safer and more durable pressure cooker and an easier to clean lid and sleeker profile.The anodized coating makes it doubly good.
