Great pressure cooker, lack of available replacement parts I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this product requires one. This has the potential to be a great product. It was my first pressure cooker and I use it multiple times per week. All pressure cookers require a replacement gasket at some point, and that is where this pressure cooker loses 3 stars. To replace the gasket, you need part #09997. As of the writing of this review: You can’t buy the replacement on Amazon, and the one Amazon recommends doesn’t fit. You can’t buy it…
Very disappointing. First. This cooker worked very well and I was more than pleased with it the first three times I used it. The fourth time I went to do so I saw that the emergency pressure plug had come out, probably in the hand wash and wasn’t noticed. It should not have dislodged so easily, but it did, and of course is no longer a pressure cooker. Not quite sure how to replace it if there is one, and it certainly is useless now. There is a reason I hand wash these but it didn’t help this time.
There is not a lot of ways to get time back into your life: this excellent pressure cooker is one!
