Great pressure cooker Great pressure cooker and seems very safe. This brand uses a different concept then other pressure cookers I have used. This is everything you wanted and more. This pressure cooker is perfection. The lid is the only annoying bit, but it looks so darned good in my kitchen that I can’t really complain. The bottom is heavy duty. This means that when I cook something in there, it’s not going to burn to the bottom in this horrible glue-like layer of burning and horrible that happens in cheaper pressure cookers. I like it and am really enjoying the flavors from cooking with it. This is my first pressure cooker and I really like how much more flavor everything has cooked this way. I am never cooking in a slow cooker again. That is for sure.Well built and sturdy. Built like a tank! This should last much much longer than any silly electronic pressure cooker (instant pot etc.). Made in India. And apparently nobody has as much experience in building these things. Thank you Hawkins!
