Superbly Constructed! Please inspect all sealing components and edges! This is my second Magefesa. The first I purchased in 1991. I have never used it for canning. I own a large All American Canner for that. I teach food preservation, water bath and pressure canning, so I am familiar with a quality item. Frankly, my Magefesa is my personal cooking choice. Love it Been using the 12 quart Star R. Beautiful design. Uses a spinning weight to release pressure like my old pressure cooker did. Cooks at 8 psi, not 15 psi like most USA pressure cookers, but this only means a few more minutes cooking.
