A little narrow but outstanding quality. Compared to other 8 quart PCs we’ve owned I love the lid quality of this. It doesn’t twist on, so the gasket should last longer, and it doesn’t have the long handle like the one we just wore out by the leverage and hand-clamping while lifting. The top is substantial and reassuring though heavier.I dont know what to think about the shape. It’s narrower than others and taller. so on one hand we can cook to a higher water line and on the other our kitchen island is counter height so my…

You do not have to twist the lid. I have had more than several pressure cookers over the last fifteen years, but this one is the best…however that Is for cooking on high…I can’t turn the heat down low enough to cook on low (but I rarely cook on low). You do not have to twist the lid, which mean the seal should last for a REALLY long time. I highly recommend this pressure cooker.

tough, durable with good design I was afraid to get one of the pressure cookers that had the top combined with the handle; it just seemed like it was too vulnerable to break the handle, since these things can get weighty filled with food, liquid, etc, and then you’d lose not only the handle but the top as well.
