Worked great for 6 weeks then failed!! We bought this multi cooker because of the SS removable pot. Thought it was the cat’s meow for the first few weeks, as we tried all of cooking modes except rice. The sous vide held the exact temperature (double-checked with candy thermometer) and time, sear & saute browned well, and slow cook – slow cooked consistently. About 4 weeks after the purchase, I was making ham and beans and noticed that I couldn’t turn the temp down to simmer- kept up a rolling boil, except on the lowest setting…

The stainless steel pot is excellent without concern for any nonstick material peeling. Well made although constructed in China. Have not used all components yet but what was used worked well for now. The stainless steel pot is hefty and excellent for browning and slow cooking especially when you don’t have to worry about any nonstick material peeling off like the All Clad slow cooker. Need to see if it continues to holds up better than the others.

Does everything listed really well. I have used it to make rice, brown, white and parboiled. I have used it to sear chicken, fish and beef. The sous vide option works perfect my steaks have never been better. I have seared burger then added other ingredients and slow cooked it all day. I have seared a roast then switched it to slow cook adding taters etc. I have made rice, then added condensed soup and chicken and let it cook all afternoon. I have seared chicken added stock, then turned it to slow cook and had fall off the bone…
