Not easy to use and does not last long It is really hard to close properly so the pressure works. Also, after less than two years, and very little use (maybe 8-10 times used), it broke! It simply does not turn on any more. This is not an issue with my electric outlets, since other electric items worked fine in them. I called customer service – nothing they can do as it is out of warranty and they don’t sell any parts for the electric system. I guess I will have to throw it away. I just wanted to give others a heads up.
TOTAL GARBAGE Imusa A417-82501 Electric Pressure Cooker, 5-Quart I purchased this unit in Feb. of 2014 used it 2 or 3 times and the pressure control plug cracked. Called Imusa and requested just a replacement part and after the run around they sent ( wrong part) Called again and they sent the wrong part again. Called Amazon and they replaced it no question. Great 3-in-1 kitchen appliance, amazing results I was always impressed with the food that came out of my mom’s pressure cooker. It was fast and the results delicious, but it scared the bejesus out of me with all that hissing and spitting.Now that I have this amazing electric pressure cooker (top rated by Good Housekeeping–google it), I love it.
