Utilize 19 programmed settings including high/low pressure cooking and slow cooking, brown, sauté, and keep warm, as well as specific settings for ribs, roast, fish, poultry, veggies, rice, multigrains, stew, soup, beans, and desserts. This Presto Precise cooker features innovative technology that senses the temperature inside the pot to ensure the exact pressure is maintained. There is no need to adjust for altitude. Comparison to Instant Pot I have an Instant Pot DUO80. I’ve actually had it for a couple years now, but have only just recently started appreciating it–before I wasn’t really sure how to use it and couldn’t figure out why it would be any better than my slow cooker or rice maker or just a regular pot on the stove or in the oven. Very large but well made pressure cooker I got this “instant pot” because I wanted a larger one than the average sized cooker I have. This one is certainly larger–in fact it is huge! Much larger than I expected, even though I should have realized how big it would be just from the fact it is a 10-quart cooker.
