My first ever pressure cooker. Loving it! I’ve owned my Zavor stovetop 10 qt. for about one month now and I really love it. The size is perfect for our family of 4…..nice and roomy, but not too unwieldy. So far I’ve used it to pressure cook ‘Italian Sunday Gravy’, pot roasts, and veggies such as potatoes, carrots, broccoli, rutabagas, etc…. and it is working wonderful for us. Made in China It’s a beautifully crafted piece. The weight distribution with the extra handle is balanced. When I browned onions, they cooked evenly. The locking feature has an audible click to let me know I’m ready to cook. What I don’t like is the plastic. It doesn’t give me confidence that it was built to last. Time will tell …

Quality is lacking I bought this stovetop model over an Instant Pot (even though the Zavor pressure cooker costs significantly more) specifically because I thought it would stand the test of time better than an electric cooker. I’ve been proven very wrong, apparently. I’ve become comfortable using my mother’s 50+ year-old stovetop pressure cooker and haven’t had any problems with it, but my brand new Zavor had steam leaking out near he handle that caused water to run into the stove burners.
