Much Better Than The Old Models Had to replace my old pressure cooker after several years of use. This model seemed a little more “modern” and easier to use so I went ahead and bought it. Couldn’t be happier! It comes with its own recipes but all my old pressure cooker recipes that I’ve made so far come out just as good on this one. The coolest part is the locking system that just clamps to the pot rather than having to struggle to close the thing.

It works as expected, but it is made in China. This pressure cooker works as expected. Easy to set up.I bought this as we changed to an Induction range and it does work well with this type of range.Hopefully it will last a long while. I was surprised that something as costly as this was manufactured in China. I thought Zavor was a US company.I did end up buying it from another website, as I cancelled the order due to the fact that Amazon failed to ship it with one day delivery which had I paid extra for.

Good quality but too narrow for searing. Buy larger! I like the short handles but the diameter was too small to be useful for searing. I ended up returning it unused and bought a Zavor Duo 10 QT and like that a lot. Hindsight, I should have bought this EZ-lock in the 10 QT. The Zavor pot is good quality and the safety features lessens my concerns about using pressure cookers. Bottom line, this is a good product if you buy the larger 10 QT, which gives enough room for searing.
