Not worth your time. This is my second Mirro pressure cooker. We have one that is many, many years old, and as reliable as the sun coming up in the east every morning. I bought another because I hate to wait for the first to process and cool before I can do another batch of whatever. I have used a pressure cooker for enough years to know what I am doing, and even then I still read and followed the instructions completely. This model is junk. Does Not Work on Glass Top Stoves!!! The description does not tell you that it doesn’t work on glass top stoves. I only found out when the canner arrived. There were no instructions in the box. The info about glass top stoves is on the box.
